Havens for the Future--Our Mission

Our mission is to provide leadership for building more connected, enriching, and ecologically aligned ways of living in the Quinnipiac Bioregion. Unleashing the collective genius of those around us, together we can creatively and proactively transition from oil dependence to resilient communities.

Our AffiliatesIn shared discussions, overlapping membership, and joint projects a growing community of groups and individuals have been arriving at similar and complementary conclusions about the challenges of our times. We increasingly find solutions are best found working in partnerships that cross traditional lines--business, faith communities, local and neighborhood organizations, environmental groups--pretty much anything that could be part of a "whole community." The affiliates you see here are a few who have worked particularly closely and whom we have had a chance to talk with while preparing the re-launch of our website.
